Personal Protective Equipment

PPE - Hardhat, Leg Protection, Eye and Ear Protection, Boots... How important they are. Every operator should make sure they understand and use PPE. Any Questions?

Tim,

Several years ago I won a pair of chaps from you at a training day. I gave those chaps to my father in law after he bought some property and was going to heat with wood. He never wore those chaps but I kept reminding him how important they were. One day he called me up and told me he finally took those chaps out of the package and put them on. He then proceded to cut some firewood and also those chaps. He only suffered a minor cut but boy how bad could that have turned out. Now he puts his chaps on everytime he grabs the saw down. Every year for Christmas he gets a new pair. Whether he needs it or not. Thanks Tim for the chaps and the great training. I use so much of what I learned from you in one day, on a daily basis.
